Cehoz Charity Project Nets4Children to fight Malaria in Africa

Cehoz™ and NutriAid launch the campaign to fight malaria

“Nets4Children”

Every year more than a million people die because of malaria, the 80% of them live in the sub-Saharan Africa.

In Africa malaria kills even more than hunger. Malaria is responsible for 30-50% of  hospitalizations and is the main killer for under five years old children. For this reason is vital to prevent the disease.

From the United Nations Declaration has come the 8 Millennium Development Goals. This key objectives (MDG) are a worldwide agreement between Rich and Poor countries, based on mutual undertaking, to work for a safer, more prosperous and more fair world for all of us. In the first six goals to be reached by the end of 2015 we find the combat to malaria and other diseases.

NutriAid works everyday on children’s malnutrition and all the connected illnesses as malaria. NutriAid works not only on nutrition and health but also on different projects focused on prevention and education on preventing children’s malnutrition with different means (children’s health checkups, sanitary and alimentary education of the mothers). One of this means is promoting the usage of anti-malaria mosquito-nets as an important tool preventing malaria.

Cehoz™ and Nutriaid joined together to create “Nets4Children”, sensitization campaign focused on buying and promoting the usage of mosquito-nets for children that arrive to the nutritional center NutriAid of Butare in Rwanda.

For every sold T-shirt supporting this campaign Cehoz™ will allocate part of its income to NutriAid, humanitarian organization working everyday protecting children’s rights, to buy an anti-malaria mosquito-net.
